So, you’re looking for a classy, yet down-to-earth place to sing karaoke? Fun, but not too wild? When was the last time you checked out the 13th Ave Pub & Eatery in Lynnwood?

Located just off the 164th street exit from I-5, you’ll be pleasantly surprised if you haven’t stopped in for a while. Owners, Wayne and Dawn Larson are all about improving the pub and are doing an excellent job of it. It seems that as each week passes, there is something new that catches my eye when I walk in the place. Just last week they removed the big “thing” that hung over the bar and replaced it with beautiful hanging lamps. It changes the entire atmosphere!

Other recently added and notable enhancements include the classy tile work that seems to be spreading throughout the bar like wildfire; the super-clean, updated bathroom facilities; and the amazing stage with professional lighting for karaoke, bands and other live entertainment.

Karaoke is offered three nights per week. Saturdays with Melissa and “T”, Mondays with Karen and Joe, and Wednesdays with Rocky and Kristine. Each karaoke hosting couple has their own sound systems, their own music selections as well as hosting styles. If you don’t like one, come in on a different night! That’s the beauty of variety. All shows start around 9:30ish, and go until closing.

On Fridays, there’s always live entertainment and the bands change out regularly so you won’t run into the same old thing week after week. If you’re like us and enjoy a great weekend breakfast out, we highly recommend the 13th Ave Pub & Eatery with late start breakfasts on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am until 1pm featuring $3.99 specials that include eggs, bacon, sausage, toast and hashbrowns! It is as much food as it sounds and you will surely get your fill. We’ve made the trip several weekends just for the breakfast and it was well worth the drive. You can also enjoy a morning cocktail during breakfast hours, Bloody Marys are only $2.39 during the weekend breakfast service. There’s nothing like jumpstarting your weekend with a great meal.

Gamers love 13th Ave Pub because they can play the wireless XBOX 360 absolutely free! They’ve recently added Halo 3 to their game selection. You can even bring your favorite games and play on their 42 inch plasma television - so don’t sit at home, go out and play where the excitement is. Old school gamers get a “kick” out of the foosball table and of course there are pool tables and darts galore for your sporting nature. Texas Hold ‘Em players gather here every Tuesday, and computer users bring their laptops and make use of the free Wi-Fi connection, or use the bar’s PC that’s available free of charge to surf the web.

If you’re out looking for a good meal and aren’t in the mood for the same old fast food, keep in mind that the 13th Ave Pub & Eatery serves food until Midnight on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays too. Full service menu lets you have that hearty or healthy meal, whatever you’ve been craving, without succumbing to the fast food joints in town. Nice!

Sports fans! You’ll enjoy your favorite sports here. There are so many flat-screen plasma televisions throughout the bar I can’t even begin to count them all - seriously!

With all the new updates the 13th Ave Pub has to offer, it would be silly of you not to head back in and check it out. Enjoy the newly installed carpet and the fresh tile, updated lighting and take in the atmosphere. It’s not the place you remember if you haven’t been in a while.
