19th Hole remodels for karaoke and comedy

Check out the newly remodeled 19th Hole Karaoke and Comedy Show Lounge in Bremerton, Washington. Here’s how it all came together…

Day one - The day to hang all the rigging points up in the ceiling, then we painted all the points to match the existing ceiling. We also had to modify the stage to get our gear on it, and carpeted to match.

Day two - Once all the rigging points were up it was time to hang all the lighting fixtures and main speaker cabinets. Then we put some gear on our new stage. Using a little hole saw, we ran all the lighting fixture’s power cables up in the attic ceiling, hooking all the lights up there and then ran all the cables down the ceiling on day three.

Day three - We hooked up the gear and had to find power for such a big sound and lighting rig. Mary hung the brand new backdrop and then we got some black curtains to cover window. Mary had bruises on her legs from crawling around in the attic so I could have all the lighting and sound cables dropped down through the ceiling behind the black curtain. What a trooper!

Day four - Touch ups. Lots of painting from Mary’s boy, John Michael. Cutting gel paper for all the par cans, a special piece of black material to cover front lights. We used a lot of black Duvatine (special black fabric) in this project. We used a hole drill to run TV wires under the stage for the karaoke monitor and did a little sound check.

Day 5 - Opening night! It was a Saturday with a comedy show on Sunday, followed by karaoke.

This project was really a blood, sweat and tears project, but well worth the outcome. We hope to see you soon at the 19th Hole! Come in and congratulate Mary on her hard work, she hosts karaoke every Sunday through Wednesday night. She has great hosting skills and is very good at dialing in the singers to sound awesome.
