Original, eclectic music wakes up Oak Harbor

Jazzbones has redefined the music scene in Oak Harbor with an eclectic balance of live entertainment.

We showed up for the Acoustic Tuesday Open Mic last month and we had the pleasure of meeting Lisa Price the GM for Jazzbones. She described her vision for the entertainment of Jazzbones to be different and original. Lisa’s goal is to bring unique back to the music scene in Oak Harbor.

Along with Acoustic Tuesday, Jazzbones offers a diverse range of entertainment throughout the week. Open mic is hosted by Nathan Lynch, originally from Cleveland, Ohio, a wonderful musician and very kind person we had the pleasure of meeting. We listened to several awesome performers while the crowd danced around and applauded. I had the opportunity to speak with a couple of the performers and found everyone had one thing in common; passion for music! Beautiful. What more can you ask for when a promising new venue offers their stage to aspiring and talented musicians?

Jazzbones also features a great menu and sushi that is out of this world. The bar also has over 14 beers on tap, surely one to whet your musical whistle.
