Great food and karaoke at The Hut in Pasco

"I had no idea this place was here", I told my wife Dana as we entered THE HUT, located at 605 N. 27th Ave in Pasco WA. about a block from Go Bowl.

We decided to visit the establishment following an invitation by their Karaoke Host, LeeAnn, who a week earlier dropped by our karaoke home, the Tin Hat Tavern across the Columbia River in Kennewick. I've noticed, since starting to write this series of articles for The Karaoke and Live Entertainment Guide, that professional courtesy is evident amongst the Karaoke Jocks here in the Tri Cities. We like to visit each others venues, drool over the various pieces of equipment and the size of ones music library. That's fun of course, but it all comes down to the music, and singers, good or bad, (see last months guide).

So here we are inside The Hut, owned and operated by George and Yvonne, who have been in business for the past 14 years.

The Hut features a full service dining facility noted for their tender steaks and the famous signature Hut Burger and crab sandwiches. Walk through the dining room into a very spacious bar, one of the largest in the Tri Cities. Lots of elbow room for pool, visiting with friends and, of course, karaoke.

LeeAnn Olson has been a KJ at the Hut for two years. LeeAnn has an easy going style and a strong voice on the mic. It's Wednesday night and the crowd is light, giving more mic time to the performers. I'm told that Friday night is party night. I also noticed that some of our singers from the Tin Hat, Dennis, John Paul and a few others have put the Hut on their karaoke "To Do" list. Good food, friendly staff, and karaoke with LeeAnn Olson. Makes for a great date night at the Hut. I know we will be back. Karaoke Wednesday, 7pm to 12:30, Fridays from 8pm to the wee hours of the morning.
