CHASER’S LOUNGE; LYNNWOOD, WA Chaser’s is on a roll!

The odds were slim for Daniel Velasco, but he walked away from Chaser’s 2nd Luck of the Draw Contest Finale on Monday October 12, $200 richer!

For six weeks leading up to the finals at Chaser’s Lounge (Lynnwood), lucky contestants have been singing for the chance to be a finalist in the karaoke contest where ANYONE can win!

In August’s contest, finalists put their top three songs in a jar and drew one to perform for no judges. The endless speculations flew at the promise that October’s Finalists would have a new format to qualify for the $200 drawing – DID THEY EVER!

This time, a roll of the dice would determine two variables. The numbered die (1 through 6) was the amount of times the contestant’s name went into the drawing for the prize money. The other die had a musical category on each of the six sides: Pop, Rock, Country, Duet, Singer’s Choice (choose your own song and DOUBLE your #), and Goddess’ Choice (‘The Goddess’ of FSI Mobile Music chooses your song!)

After each contestant rolled the dice and braved through their fated song, the jar was almost brimming with names. Eileen Swan had her name entered more than any other finalist, eight times! Quite a few, of the thirteen contestants, only had their names in once, including Danny. That’s why everyone was surprised when Jillian, our beautiful bartender, blindly drew him as winner!

The festivities then continued, as an FSI-hosted party always does, with open karaoke and dancing to requested music videos!

FSI Mobile Music is ecstatic to host yet a 3rd Luck of the Draw Contest! Everyone has a chance to qualify on Monday nights starting November 2.
