Legendary H.D. Hotspurs closes, contest moves to Caseys

In a surprising turn of events, after thirty-five years serving the community, H.D. Hotspurs closed it’s doors for good in April. Reportedly, the landlord was not interested in renewing the lease. A sad day indeed.
Award winning barbeque recipes were the backbone to more than three decades of H.D.’s success.

April was a good month. I found myself back at “Stoddy’s Bar & Grill” in Bremerton on Saturday the 14th, and they were seriously rockin’ the blues. Blues man, TONY COLEMAN was sitting in with SOULSTICE and it was a blast! Two great drummers performing on stage at the same time.

It was a night of real heavy-hitters in the contest realm at Pacific Lanes for their monthly karaoke contest last Saturday, April 14.
Jodee, Karaoke Host at Pacific Lanes, is building quite a reputation for her little karaoke contest. They’ve seen some amazing local singers pop in and get their names on the list to compete.
Make it Ozzies 7 nights

Head out to Ozzies at the base of Seattle’s Queen Anne Hill any night of the week, and you’re bound to have a blast, especially if you want to sing karaoke.
The shows always begins at 9pm, and are hosted by Deanna, and newcomer Denny. Currently Denny hosts Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays, while Deanna takes the reigns every other night of the week.
