Let’s do Dinner and a Show!

2006 is now in full gear and all of us at the Karaoke & Live Entertainment paper are looking forward to a great year ahead. We have continuously pursued new and creative ideas and original features to keep our publication interesting and appealing. We want to take this opportunity to say thank you to all our readers who give us suggestions, support and encouragement.

The Pacific Northwest has an abundance of excellent singers, karaoke hosts, karaoke contest winners, musical entertainers, etc. We are pleased to announce our first event of the year, which will showcase the Northwest region’s premier talent. The Northwest Premier Singer’s Showcase is scheduled for Sunday, March 26. This is not a contest or competition, it is a show designed to entertain and display the excellent talent this area has to offer.

This event will be a performance extravaganza which will be held in a fine restaurant lounge in the heart of downtown Seattle. The location will be Spice Restaurant & Lounge, located on the corner of 5th Avenue and Bell Street, directly under the monorail. Spice owner, Nazir, has graciously invited us to hold this event in his restaurant, which offers a broad variety of delicious Pan Asian, East Indian and Latin Cuisine. The lounge is spacious and sparkling, the bar and waitstaff ready to serve and help you have a wonderful evening.

This enchanting event will be hosted by Karaoke and Live Entertainment’s very own Fred Umayam. Fred has been working hard to organize and promote this event, working closely with Spice Restaurant to make sure this event becomes a magnificent evening for the performers and the audience.

We will be inviting ten singers to perform their best songs in rotation. Each performer will sing two songs for the evening. A short biography of each of the singers will be read before they perform their first song. The venue will include dinner and a show. Each singing performer will receive a complimentary dinner for their contribution. They will be requested to bring at least 5 of their family members or friends to join them for the evening. The dinner starts at 6pm on Sunday, March 26th. The show begins at 7pm and will continue until 9:30-10pm.

The Karaoke and Live Entertainment Newspaper looks forward to an evening of delicious food, fiendishly good times and phenomenal entertainment. We are thrilled to put this program together to showcase our region’s talent. We cordially invite you to join us for this first event at Spice Restaurant & Lounge.
