Tri-Cities keeps on singing!
By Mike Carlin, Karaoke Tonight
Once again the sun is shining in abundance in the Tri-Cities. The few trees we have here in the desert are starting to sprout new signs of life. The mighty Columbia River is flowing strong, thanks to heavy snows in the mountains, and the night air is filled with karaoke!
I would like to correct a mistake I made in last month’s Guide. While karaoke host, Lee Ann, had her picture posted on the front page of this fine paper, that was not Lee Ann’s picture on the Karaoke Theme Park story deep inside. I do not know the young lady’s name, but she had a great voice for sure.
Now that we have covered the weather, my bad, let’s get down to business. We at Karaoke Tonight would like to thank all our guests who come to sing at the Tin Hat Tavern. Because of you, we are able to extend Saturday night into the wee hours of the morning, the way God intended. Please check our Web site, www.karaoketonight.net for more information. We would also like to give a big thanks to Paul Tilley and his wife, Lin, for driving over from Yakima. Both are karaoke junkies and very talented. (I mentioned Paul in a past issue of the Guide.) Mr. Tilley has produced a couple of CDs I know you will enjoy.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 17th. Karaoke Tonight is once again honored to take part in the 2nd annual Knights Of Columbus, G-Force Classic Car Show in Pasco, behind the Knights Of Columbus building. I will have more information for you in the June edition of the Guide. Besides classic cars, there will be live music and a karaoke contest. The winner will receive a trophy.
Now for the big close. The picture here is one of the Tin Hat’s bartenders, Darla, who loves to sing and sing and sing. She’s also been dying to see her picture in Karaoke and Live Entertainment Guide. So Darla, keep on singing! See you all next month.
