Karaoke Corner: Skagit Singers Win Big!

Summer is usually a time for families to vacation together. A time when the kids head off to visit the grandparents. A chance for mom and dad to get out and sing karaoke at their favorite watering holes.  All is right with the world, at least for a little while.

Just a quick reminder, that we too will be taking a brief hiatus from Skagit karaoke in July, but will return in August and sing our way into 2013.

Don’t forget that the Skagit Valley Casino Resort features amazing entertainment on the Pacific Showroom stage! Jim Breuer from SNL will be performing July 20 and 21, and Country music grammy nominee and CMA Horizon winner, John Anderson takes the stage August 17, for two shows only.

Then in September, Joan Osborne performs on the 21st and 22nd. The fun doesn’t stop there either. On September 28, the Skagit presents “Helluva Night” featuring Voyager, and Hells Belles with host Danny Bonaduce!

Coming in October, The Skagit is proud to present The Presidents of the United States of America, followed by the Seattle International Comedy Competition in November. And they’ll wrap up the year with Don McLean live on November 30 and December 1.  Plus, New Year’s Eve at The Skagit is always a memorable time.
