There’s Still Time to Qualify at Casey’s

By Ty Hughes

Certainly there are no karaoke singers out there that could use an extra three hundred bucks, especially those with any kind of talent on the microphone.

But, let’s just say, hypothetically, that there was just such a group of ‘hungry’ karaoke singers roaming among us. What if they knew that on an otherwise mundane Wednesday night, they could pull up to Casey’s Bar & Grill on Kent’s East Hill and get in on the action? Christmas is just around the corner, yo!

Certainly there are karaoke singers with talent that have children expecting toys under the tree this Christmas! Come on people, get off the couch and qualify to win $300 cash money at Caseys!

DJ Old Skool is workin’ the dials on Casey’s stage. And even though they sing karaoke five nights a week, it’s Wednesday night that you need to come out and qualify to win. Old Skool’s been signing up anywhere from six to twelve singers each week, but we’re sure there are more of you that could use some extra loot. Here’s the best part, DJ Old Skool is paying out $40 to the 1st place qualifier each and every Wednesday, in addition to the $300 winner-take-all grand prize! Not only that, but the top three weekly singers are rewarded every Wednesday at Casey’s! Twenty bucks cash to 2nd place, and a sweet Gift Certificate to 3rd place.

Last month, we caught up with Casey’s DJ Old Skool, and co-owner Randi just as they called out the winners for that second week in September. The Top 3 took the stage and waited for the news. In third place… Linda! She was so excited! It was her first contest and she was a little intimidated by the competition. But, lo and behold, she won herself a Casey’s GC! She ate and drank for free that night, and that was awesome to her. Way to go Linda!

In 2nd place, and moving onto the Finals October 10… Sean! Everybody loves Sean. He just won the Golden Steer contest down the road. He’s very good.

But it was Daddy Rich that resonated with the crowd tonight. He landed 1st place and forty bucks cash with his ‘smooth’ style. Way to go buddy!

We’re gonna see Daddy Rich, Sean, and a whole bunch of amazing singers at Casey’s contest Finals event on Wednesday, October 10. If you’re sitting there thinking to yourself, ‘Man, I can sing, and I can darn sure make use of an extra three hundred bucks!’ Come out and join in the fun. You’ve only got a couple more weeks to qualify – October 3rd is your final chance to get in on the $300 Winner-take-all Finals. Good luck to everyone, we can’t wait to experience the Finals with the rest of you live entertainment junkies!

Casey’s brings in the bands for live, intimate shows that will rock your world. Last month, they hosted Seattle’s premier Classic and Modern Rock band, Boneyard! Those that came out for the show got a real earful, and some boogie time. But first, it was dinnertime at Casey’s, and wouldn’t ya know it, Randi offered up a full Spaghetti dinner for just $6.00. The food is amazing at Casey’s.

Randi was excited about her new custom-built wine cabinet, now full of bottles and hanging glasses. Her monthly Wine Tasting Parties on the 2nd Wednesday each month has been growing. More and more people are getting a taste of Casey’s style of hospitality.

See Casey’s ad here and check out their Facebook page at Casey’s Grill. They’re at 24228 104th Ave SE, Kent, WA (253) 236-4137.
