Entertaining Stanwood is Cyndy’s Broiler

Cyndy’s Broiler is a great new restaurant and bar in Stanwood, WA, located in the previous Gerry Andal’s and Blazing Saddles building. We ventured downtown last Saturday night to find out what’s cookin’ at Cyndy’s Broiler.

On the way, we popped in at the Stanwood Hotel real quick. A true hotspot for the locals, the Stanwood Hotel was a full house, with a live band, and great music. We always have a great time here, but we were anxious to venture across the street. We ordered a quick cocktail, sang a couple of songs, then headed over to see what was going on at Cyndy’s Broiler.

We walked in to find the Tony Bridges Band rocking the house! The dance floor was packed full of dancers and the crowd was bouncing around, singing along to a popular Tony B. cover song. We weren’t surprised to find Cyndy’s Broiler hoppin’ on a Saturday night. The last few times we’ve been here, there’s something fun going on.

The sign on the mirror, next to the list of upcoming bands to play here, reads “Zumba”. Now, if anyone knows me at all, you know that Zumba is my thing. So I am definitely going to find out more about this place!

We said hello to the band, personal friends of ours, and took a seat near the dance floor. We danced and sang the night away with friends. What a blast!

Cyndy’s features live music entertainment four nights per week, and on Wednesdays from 2pm-4pm. Thursday is Jam Night, Friday is Rock n’ Roll night, Saturday is all Country, and Sunday features live Swing/Jazz music. And for you karaoke nuts, don’t you worry, check back real soon!

Take advantage of their daily Happy Hour prices from 2pm-5pm. Stanwood isn’t one of those late night party towns, so if you go out anywhere in Stanwood, better plan on getting out there early, most places close down after midnight.
