Kamel Toe Outrageous
By Thomas Hayley
The Kamel Toe Bar and Grill is the newest hotspot in Parkland. But don’t take my word for it, go see for yourself!
Kamel Toe karaoke runs every Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, but I was here for the Kamel Toe Karaoke Idol contest and got so much more than expected. The Kamel Toe Idol qualifiers run through September with a minimum grand prize of $500 cash, plus gift certificates are handed out each week to the best singer.
I really had no idea what to expect when asked to report on a bar called Kamel Toe, and was blown away with what I saw.
A full-sized stage and pink stripper poles owned the middle of the bar. Cages and swings lined with pink shag hung recklessly around the room. Perplexed, I cocked my head to one side, realizing that I was probably in for the night of my life. Ordered a scotch and a shot of tequila; $4.00. Only $2.00 per well drink on Tuesday nights at the Kamel Toe, and I was planning to take full advantage.
Working my way over to the karaoke booth, I was greeted by KJ Garry Howden, who happily wrote down my name and song choice. There are no books to look through because with 128,000 selections he has just about every song you would ever want to sing anyway.
The sound was cranked up and everybody was dancing and having a blast. It was hard not to stare at Danielle, the cocktail waitress, as she prances by with more material on her leather boots than her super-short pink skirt. Danielle was so hot, I almost had a meltdown. And when you need to cool down, sexy cocktailers will dispatch a cool Jello shot directly into your mouth with a large syringe carried close to their smooth bodies.
If that isn’t enough, there are single women everywhere! Bras are strung up all around the bar lights, and the women aren’t afraid to show off the ones they’re still wearing either. One night and I am totally hooked!
They also have the band, Just Dirt here live every Thursday for a Musician’s Jam Night, Free Pole Dancin’ Mondays, Open-Mic Comedy on Tuesdays from 8pm-9:30pm.
Be sure to come out to the Kamel Toe on August 28 for the Rob Zombie tribute bands.
