Lovebirds make Beautiful music at Saigon Gardens

By Ty Hughes

Jonny and Robbie Clearbrook recently became husband and wife in what was reported to be one of the most musically beautiful weddings ever, especially if you’re a fan of karaoke. Some of the area’s greatest singers collaborated in a life event that guests will remember for a long time to come.

Jonny is Robbie’s biggest fan, and vice versa. The love these two share for one another is inspiring, to say the very least. Obvious too. They have no problem with public displays of affection, more of which this world sorely needs.

Shortly after the wedding, they decided to turn their second love into an actual business. Karaoke! They promptly formed Lovebirds Karaoke, purchased an existing business, including multiple systems and current show contracts. Lovebirds Karaoke is now showing at Marysville’s Red Sky Bar & Grill on Tuesdays at 9:30pm, Saigon Gardens on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:30pm, and the Buzz Inn Silver Lake every Saturday at 8:00pm.

The Buzz Inn at Silver Lake, in Everett, is an all-ages show – the whole family is invited to come sing!

Just down the road a piece at Saigon Gardens, Jonny and Robbie are putting on an outstanding show every Thursday night in there brand new karaoke room. Saigon Gardens just finished a beautiful remodel job, opening up the bar by adding a whole extra room on the south side, specifically for live music, karaoke, and entertainment. The new stage is littered with guitars, mics, and stacks of speakers all the way to the ceiling. Laser lights dance around the room and across the singers’ faces as they sing. Tube lights enhance the curved step onto the stage, adding intrigue. Jonny is the designated sound technician, while Robbie puts her infectious personality out there for everyone to enjoy.

The wood floors stretch on forever, so folks will get up and dance by their tables and all around the room.

Lana and Carla, Jonny and Robbie’s children respectively, came out to support the show and lend their voices to the melee. That Lana’s pretty good at karaoke rap too!

Tony and Dwayne got their shot at five minutes of fame, and everybody in the bar, whether playing pool on their two tables, darts on their three boards, or just hanging around the bar looking at the pretty bartenders, thoroughly enjoyed the music that night.

Saigon Gardens is a modern, café-style bar with tons of seating, and incredible oriental cuisine. Full menu is available until 10pm, and then it’s all the regular fried fare beyond that.

Jonny and Robbie of Lovebirds Karaoke invites you to visit any one of their new shows. See their ad here for more information. And be sure to congratulate them on their recent marriage!
