Spectators; Kent, WA – Join Dawn at Spectators

For those of you who live out in the Des Moines, Kent, and Federal Way area, and love to sing karaoke, Spectators on Pacific Hwy is now rolling out karaoke every Friday and Saturday night!
Join host Dawn from 9pm to 1am Friday and Saturday for a great time singing the night away. Spectators has tons of room and Dawn has set up her karaoke station just inside the entryway. Her system puts out pretty good sound and allows you to strut your stuff in front of all your friends. Even Josie the bartender will get up there and bust a rhyme from time to time, work permitting. She sounds mighty good too! And Dawn… wow! This girl can sing. She works for our friend Luke Reneau, who keeps the southend rockin’ with quality karaoke.
Dawn’s been hosting for years in the area, including venues such as JJ’s Bar & Grill, and most recently, Dave’s of Milton. She attracts a good group of faithful and friendly folks to her show. She even met her husband at a karaoke show nearly ten years ago. How cool is that!?
Susie, Kelley, Stevie and a host of others will take the microphone and light up the place with their amazing vocals. Dawn nicknames her singers to better remember all their names. She’s got Bouncin’ Susie, Textin’ Tina, and lots more! One particular character, Al, was in the room, singing just about as much as he wanted until the onslaught of customers on a Friday night at Spectators. Al is retired U.S. Navy, having an illustrious 25 year career full of memories to share. He told of one specific time when he and 5,000 fellow sailors were blessed to witness Lee Greenwood singing on his ship. He said it was incredible to see that many sailors standing at attention with tears in their eyes. So he got up and sang some Lee Greenwood, sporting his USSN cap. Al enjoys his karaoke and mixes it up at Spectators.
Spectators has a big screen with the lyrics facing the audience so everyone can follow along. The speakers are out front for better sound distribution. Dawn runs a fully-computerized CAVS system, chock ful of song selections to choose from. She says her job is so much easier now that it’s all digitalized and she doesn’t have to lug around and mess with all those discs anymore.
Josie and her bar posse will keep your glass full and their food menu features unique, well-priced items to please.
Stevie popped in with a few good friends and quickly moved in on the karaoke scene. When his turn came to sing, he did an excellent Tears In Heaven to get the evening started with his group of friends.
Spectators enjoys a good karaoke crowd on Friday and Saturday nights. Host Dawn welcomes you to join them, sing some old favorites, and make some new friends.
