YOUR LOCAL EYE IS WORKING FOR YOU
By Ty Hughes
Remember when the whole Texas Hold ‘Em craze overtook our nation? And soon after that, we started seeing Texas Hold ‘Em tournaments being offered in most of our favorite pubs and lounges around town? Well, that was Brandon Arnson’s start-up company taking the Northwest and beyond by storm.
In just a few short years, when his business grew to include hundreds of locations and a healthy sized staff, he sold it. Believing he had a solid grasp on what the average bar owner needed – even if they didn’t know they needed it at the time – he began another venture to address the real needs of the bar owner and Your Local Eye (YLE) was born.
With a few key people, including Steve Minkove, and a some new faces including the likes of Thomas Butler, YLE has become a two-pronged business venture on the move. On one hand, they have set out to continue bringing the best in Texas Hold ‘Em tournaments to the bar scene, but this time, having simplified things greatly, YLE is able to drastically cut the cost to the bar owner and still provide the best in poker tournaments to their patrons. Their customer base continues to grow and expand under this new concept.
The second aspect of YLE is probably the most impressive. With the onslaught of social networking sites and realizing that this is the way of the future for bar promotion, they have patented a way to build the social network for those bars that choose to take advantage of their unique services. In a nutshell, YLE will provide the means to assemble a large “friends list” for any given location, enabling the bar to market directly to their own patrons. Any in-house events such as tournaments, contests, parties, or even updates like drink and food specials can be directly marketed to any specific location’s subscriber in the form of an email.
They’ve also begun to offer inexpensive Web sites to any location that needs one or may need an old site revamped.
Your Local Eye will become the bar owner’s best friend and most effective business partner, building their business by bringing them into the 21st century of marketing.
If you would like to take your location’s marketing to another level altogether and learn more about what YLE can do for you, please don’t hesitate to call them right now at (206) 930-9584.
